I saw this 2 bedroom advertised.  It is priced at $199 per night, over my $150 per night requirement so I have not added it to my list.  Nonetheless, it looks very clean and well decorated and some folks may want to check it out.  Location is Sheung Wan, very close to the MTR stop.  It sleeps 6.

Hi,

My friends and I are coming to Hong Kong from New York City. We are looking for a short term, 2 week rental (sept 25 to oct 9th) and came across your site. There is 9 of us which is the hard part but if happen to come across anything that would fit us, please help!

Thank you
Silvia

My family are going to HK from 11/8/2011 to 11/19/2011. There are 5 adults. Do you have any recommendations about any apt. or hotels with daily rate of $200-$120/night? We would like to stay in Hongkong side rather than Kowloon. thanks
Helen

What is your tip on ensuring that we are not scammed by these vacation rentals? I have contacted the owner of the apartment you recommended in Sheung Wan - I like it and am about to close a deal with the owner. Just want to be cautious :)

thanks.

Nette,

Of course, I can not guarantee anything because I don't personally know any of these people.

The scammers use Craig's List and other "freebies". If you rented from a professional pay site, chances are very, very high that the rental is legitimate. If you booked through HomeAway, you should be fine.
